Jason Grimaldi Fund
At the end of March 2017, the unthinkable happened. A very brilliant, vibrant and larger than life father, firefighter and friend were taken from us without warning.
Jason Grimaldi was an amazing person. He was slow to anger and quick to help someone in need – Even someone he’d never met. He knew a little about a lot of things, and everything about topics dear to his heart: science, psychology, politics, union bylaws, the making of wine and the drinking of good whiskey.
He believed in equality for all people in all things and did his best to pass those ideals to his family and those around him.
Now, his family and friends are coming together to honor his life and carry on in the causes close to his heart. We are proud to announce the launch of the Jason Grimaldi Fund, which will support the causes Jason held dear:
- The Local Arts.
- Supporting local Volunteer Firefighters.
- Science Education for young people.
We have a lofty goal: to raise an endowment of $15,000. This will allow us to provide annual support for the programs and organizations Jason loved. And finally, he enjoyed life. He accepted its struggles and its joys in equal measure. He did his best to live his life the best way he knew how, and we miss him terribly.
We intend to support his legacy by supporting these causes for him, now that he can’t. But the first step … is raising awareness and getting the word out. Can you help us reach our goal?
You will be able to apply for financing and funds here shortly. More information coming soon.
