The Anthony V. Spano Foundation School Supplies Fund, an initiative committed to enhancing educational opportunities for underprivileged students, is thrilled to announce the successful delivery of much-needed classroom supplies to several school districts in the Mahoning Valley.
The beneficiaries of the recent school supplies distribution include Brookfield Local School District (Trumbull County), Struthers City School District (Mahoning County), Niles City Schools (Trumbull County), Salem City Schools (Columbiana County), and Trumbull County Board of Developmental Disabilities – Fairhaven School (Trumbull County). The Foundation recognizes students’ unique challenges in these districts and is committed to bridging the resource gap by providing essential tools for academic success.
“It warms my heart that someone can show as much love for my students and school as my coworkers and I have without even knowing us. Your caring Makes a Difference!” stated Kimberly Moore, Fairhaven Schools.
The Schools Supply fund was established to help support K-12 students by ensuring they have access to the educational materials necessary for a comprehensive learning experience. From notebooks and pencils to backpacks and art supplies, the Foundation works diligently to impact students’ lives and contribute to their academic achievements.
The Foundation is dedicated to creating a brighter future through education, empowerment, and community engagement. By fostering collaboration and addressing the unique needs of underprivileged students, the Foundation aims to inspire positive change and make a lasting impact on communities across Ohio.
On behalf of Struthers Middle School, Kelsey Hilderbrand stated, “We are incredibly grateful for your kind donation of school supplies. Your generosity has supported many students’ education and will make a valuable difference in their learning experience. Thank you for investing in their future and demonstrating how a small act of kindness can have a big impact. Your donation will be put to good use. Thank you again for your thoughtful donation!”
