(Youngstown, OH) – Hollywood Gaming at Mahoning Valley Race Course, in Youngstown, will be holding a School Supply Donation Event on August 4, 2022, at Hollywood Gaming located at 655 Canfield Niles Rd., Youngstown. When the event is over, these supplies will be donated to the Anthony V. Spano Foundation’s School Supplies Fund where they will be distributed to area schools. “We will supply large stand-up boxes where Hollywood Gaming’s guests can drop off much-needed school supplies during the August event in their food court. These supplies help bridge the gap for valley schools, teachers, and students in need of support,” stated Anthony Spano, Executive Director of the Anthony V. Spano Foundation.
“Guests visiting our property on Thursday, August 4 between 11 am and 7 pm who bring in a donation of new school supplies will be enrolled into a promotion where they are guaranteed to win $5 in Free VLT Play up to $1,000 Free VLT Play,” stated Kevin Brogan, Director of Marketing at
Hollywood Gaming.
The goal of the Spano Foundation is to continue raising funds so that school districts and teachers can keep applying for grants to help offset the costs they pay out of their school accounts and the teachers’ own dollars.
