The School Supplies Fund: Helping Kids and Teachers Thrive

The School Supplies Fund, created by the Anthony Spano Foundation in Youngstown, Ohio, supports teachers, students, and schools by providing much-needed classroom supplies to underprivileged children. Poverty affects millions of kids across the U.S., including 525,000 in Ohio as of 2016, and over 96,000 in Columbiana, Mahoning, and Trumbull counties. These children feel the weight of poverty at home and in the classroom, where families often can’t afford supplies and school budgets fall short.

This fund is dedicated to helping kids succeed by ensuring they have the tools they need to learn and thrive. With a goal of raising a $10,000 endowment, we aim to provide ongoing support to local schools, educators, and students for years to come.

Together, we can make a lasting difference. Help us reach our goal and give our local educators and kids the resources they deserve. With your support, we can empower teachers and brighten the future for countless children.
