The Spano Foundation is proud to announce that it is accepting nominations for the Presidential Volunteer Service Award (PVSA) in the Mahoning Valley. The Foundation is the certified organization to hand out this great award.

The Spano Foundation will be the presenting organization for the future of this award by teaming up with Brenda Rider, who will continue to lead the charge.  Since 2010, Ms. Rider has been presenting the Presidential Volunteer Service Award to Mahoning Valley volunteers and organizations.

The purpose for the Presidential Volunteer Service Award is to honor the hundreds of thousands of people across America that have volunteered hundreds, if not thousands of volunteer hours over their lifetime. The program was established to honor the volunteer works of individuals, families and organizations throughout the United States. Deadline is August 1.
